David began his studies in September with Kingstec through Nova Scotia Community College to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
David resides in Simonds with his wife Kendra and son Benjamin. He also has two daughters, Ash and Gabrielle, David grew up in Quebec, moved to the Hartland area and married a local girl and settled down in Simonds and has worked in the farming trade for many years, David is looking forward to his career change and his studies. David sat on the board of directors here at the Carleton Funeral Home for a couple years and has been involved in the Simonds community looking after the cemetery. He brings many assets with him, one being he is bilingual, and a very hard worker.

Bev is our part-time admin support staff, she also supports funeral services.
Bev is the wife of Arthur Smith, the Managing Director, and has been around the funeral business for several years.
