After a brief illness, Winston Frank Alexander went home to be with his Lord & Saviour on Apr 20, 2024 at the age of 85.

Winston was born Aug 17, 1938 in his family home in Jacksontown, NB to the late Frank & Pearl (McLean) Alexander.

He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife of 67 years Janet (Ketch) and 3 loving children, Frank (Brenda), Chery (Stephen), Janette (Colden); 6 grandchildren, Joshua, Courtney, Taylor, David, Daniel, Sarah and 4 great grandchildren, Winston, Ophelia, Aria, and Brielle along with many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his brother Vernon (Donna) and sister Sharon (Allison). He is predeceased by great grandson Jax.

Winston's passion was farming which he devoted over 65 years of his life to. This devotion was evident when he was still planting grain at the age of 80. If farming wasn't hard enough, he took on a secondary occupation of a bus driving career, which spanned 32 years while still managing the family farm.

Winston was a prayer warrior who loved reading his Bible. He continued this into his retirement while sitting at the window, watching the birds at the feeders and looking at the skyline and land. He loved watching golf & baseball….especially the Blue Jays. He loved nature and all it produced. Most of all he was a loving husband and father who loved the Lord, his community and his church.

Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home, Jacksonville, NB, visitation will be held on Wednesday, Apr 24th from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the Jacksontown Baptist Church, 995 Route 560, Jacksontown on Thursday, Apr 25th at 2:00pm.
