It is with deep regret the family announces the passing of their beloved mother, Winnifred Josephine (Gould) Dow of Woodstock NB on Saturday morning at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Born at Woodstock NB on August 11 1931 to the late James and Luetta (Price) Gould. She is survived by her husband , Charles Dow of Woodstock, daughters, Lenora Higgs (Brian) East Grand Lake NB, Nancy English (Robert) Woodstock NB, Rhonda Hallett (Murray) Langley BC, Patricia Veysey (Terry Belliveau) Moncton NB, a son Bryan Veysey (Joan) Woodstock NB, two step-daughters, Beverly French (Phillip) Lousana AB, Brenda Holmes (Berry) Dartmouth NS, sisters, Estella (Fox) Dunphy, Florence Farrell, a brother, Darrell Gould, fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she is predeceased by brothers George, Hazen and Robert, an infant son Mark and her first husband Beryl Veysey. Resting at Holy Trinity Anglician Church, Canterbury, NB, where friends may call on Monday, December 20, 2010 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm with funeral Service at 3:00 pm with The Venerable Walter Williams officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Canterbury Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to The Canadian Red Cross, The Upper River Valley Cancer Support Group or to a memorial of the donors choice.
