Passed away peacefully on February 10-2006 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital. Born in south Wales, Great Britain , Dec-10-1909, and immigrated to Canada in 1926. Predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Stephen Davies, husband, Percy Colwell, sisters, Olwen, Rowena; Brothers , John, Douglas, Benjamin and Leonard. Survived by a son Douglas (Marie) Fredericton NB, a daughter Dorothy (Dale) Donahue, Houlton Me, sister-in-law Christine Davies, three grandsons and two great grand- daughters, brothers, Bill of Vancouver and Dave Of Oshawa. Before her retirement from her nursing career, she was a supervisor and nursing instructor at the Carleton Memorial Hospital; a member of the United Baptist Church in Woodstock, received the Merit Award from the NB cancer Society and was involved in the local Nursing Alumni Chapter and numerous other organizations. She loved her family , especially the grandchildren. Resting at the Carleton Funeral home in Jacksonville where friends may call on Tuesday from 7-9 pm Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 2;00 pm from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel .
