Hovey, Wayne C. Peacefully in his sleep in Greely on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at the age of 60. Wayne died at home with his loving family by his side, after an extraordinary journey with ALS. Beloved husband of Gloria (for 39 years). Proud and loving father of Mitchell (Diana) and Karen (Chad). Grandfather of Jacob, Thomas, William, Kyle and Charlotte. Dear son of Evelyn and the late Charlie Hovey. Brother of Velma (Doug)Tracey, Jerry (Gina), Lorraine (Jeff) LePage and the late Brian (Bernie). Wayne touched many lives and will be deeply missed by family and friends. His sense of humor and zest for life endeared him to all who crossed his path. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. M. L. Blair, the ALS team at the Rehabilitation Centre, staff at the CCAC, the support staff from VHA, We Care, Carefor, and all those who provided such caring support to Wayne and his family over the past year.
