Obituary

Violet Adelia Farnham, 94, of Woodstock, NB passed away peacefully Saturday, December 15, 2018 at home. Violet was born in Good Corner, NB on January 7, 1924, daughter of Ellis and May (Holmes) Carmichael.

Besides her parents, Violet was predeceased by her husband Dean; brothers Floyd, Milford, George, and Paul; sisters Thelma, Anna, and Audrey.

Violet is survived by her sons Philip, James (Heather), John (Karen); daughters Lois (Murray) Whitehouse, Mary Bradley, Esther (Bev) Lawrence, Ruth (Charlie) Lawrence, Elizabeth (Gary) Rockwell, Eunice Wetmore, Debbie (Dale) Arndt; grandchildren Derek, Jared, Cindy, Randy, Joe, Trina, Andrea, Michelle, Brent, Luke, Paul, Mariah, Cara, Jenelle, Katherine, Aaron, Alicia; 24 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren; sister Ardith (Don) Wolsey, ON; sisters-in-law, Shirley Dunphy, Muriel Arsenault; brother-in-law David Vince Farnham, Cape Cod; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 12-2pm. Funeral service to follow at 2pm. Interment will be in the Victoria Corner Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NBBI Cemetery Fund (Victoria Corner), the Gideon's, or to a memorial of the donor's choice.

The family would like to express deep gratitude to the Extra Mural staff for taking such good care of Mom and all of us. We were treated with such gentle kindness and compassion. Thank You!
