The family of Vincent Neil Daniels sadly announce his passing on May 15, 2026, at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, N.B.
Vince was born on Stairs Hill, N.B. on May 13, 1941. He was predeceased by his parents George Neil Daniels and Irene Margaret (Stairs) and brother Dale Daniels as well as father-in-law Arthur Brownlow, mother-in-law Beatrice (Knox) and brother-in-law's Dean and Johnney Brownlow.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Judy; his daughter Denise Gray (Mitchell); his son Derick Daniels (Michelle); grandsons Jamie Gray (Lauren); Jason Gray (Brittany Best); Jaren Daniels (Khloi Mean); Landen Daniels (Addison Stockford-Gray); 6 great grandchildren-Asher, Khylar, Abel, Lennon, Jax and Colt; 2 siblings-Sherrill Lindsay (Bill) and Darlene Palmer; sister-in-law Angie Brownlow as well as nieces and nephews.
Vince and Judy moved to Woodstock N.B. early in their marriage where they have made their home, worked and raised their family. He was known for his Christmas lights on the green house in the intersection of Connell Street and Deacan Drive and his 1975 red Mercury.
Vince proudly worked for NB Power as a Linesman and later as an Engineering Assistant for 34 years and after retirement he worked for the RCMP as a guard for 14 years. For several years, he was involved with the Planning Advisory Committee for the Town of Woodstock and worked with the Woodstock Trailmakers Club dragging and cutting trails.
In his early years, Vince loved going to the gym, gardening, volleyball, boating, camping, snowmobiling and travelling. He always enjoyed his time on First Eel River Lake and built his cottage in 1976. He had a passion for dancing and square dancing, woodworking and cleaning and detailing vehicles. He thoroughly enjoyed family events and dearly loved his cat Bandit who he called "Kitty." Vince put his heart and soul into everything he did. He was dedicated and driven and aimed for perfection.
He will be especially remembered for his dance moves and rarely missed a Senior's event. He also knew every word to every song even while battling Alzheimer’s.
