With regret the family of Vera Maude (Barrow) McManus of Woodstock NB announces her passing on June 02, 2010 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Born at Northampton NB on October 22, 1927 to the late John and Maude (Chase) Barrow. Vera is survived by her husband of fifty five years, Leo McManus of Woodstock, a son Ralph (Dianne) , Nackawic NB, daughters, Doreen Mainville (Ray) Orleans, ONT, Susan McManus, Ottawa, ONT, Lorraine Monette (Gord), Orleans, ONT, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Nina Currie, Irma Lake both of Woodstock,and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Lila, Eva, Pheobe, and Marie, brothers, Marshall, Russell, Paul and Ralph. Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Rd. Jacksonville NB, where friends may call on Friday from 7-9 pm .Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 pm from the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jennifer Brown officiating. Interment will take place in the Kirk Cemetery at Northampton. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group if so desired. Service Information
