Velma Mildred (Porter) Guerrier, 95, of Meductic NB passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Riverview Manor Bath NB. Velma was born in Lower Woodstock NB on February 26, 1920 daughter of the late Wiles and Inez (Durling) Porter.

Velma is survived by her daughters; Shirley Yerxa (Charles), Irene Cahill (Wayne), son, Michael MacILroy (Jackie), grandchildren, Annette (John), Tammy (Bill), John, Steven (Nicole), Stacey (William), Carrie (Trevor), Sara (Chris), Melanie (Dawson), Serena (Jonathan), Jodi (Tim), Joshua, Jesse (Patricia), several great grandchildren, sister, Clara Stewart (Arthur), brothers, Paul Porter (Thelma), aunts; Catherine Durling, Helen Durling  and Evelyn Ingersoll, special friend Myrtle Yerxa, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, Velma was predeceased by a daughter, Marjorie Spence and son in law John Spence, brothers; Clayton Porter and George Porter.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 6 PM to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from Meductic United Baptist Church at 2 PM with Rev. Charles Yerxa officiating. Interment will be held in the Meductic United Baptist Church Cemetery.
