It is with sadness and heavy hearts we announce the death of Valerie Elaine Shaw 70 of Oakland NB. Valerie passed away on Sunday August 29, 2021 at the Upper River Valley Hospital.

She was born in Woodstock on April 16, 1951 to the late Willis and Isabel (White) Shaw.

Valerie is survived by her children Seth (Tina) Cahill, Colin ( Meghan) Cahill and Derek ( Sharon) Cahill, her grandchildren Payton, Shae, Isaac and Aubrie, sister Elspeth Shaw and special friends and caregivers Tammy Ruff and Jeannette Muileman.

Besides her parents Valerie was predeceased by twins Aaron and Darren

A graveside committal service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday September 4, 2021 at the Simonds Cemetery in Simonds NB.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group or DunRoamin Stray and Rescue.

Directions to Lower Simonds Cemetery, Take exit 172 toward Hartland, continue to High John Flemming Bridge, Turn left onto route 103, Simonds Road, travel appox 3 miles to Lower Simonds Cemetery.
