It is with much sadness and heavy hearts, that we announce the death of Valerie Joyce O'Donnell of Richmond Corner NB on Saturday May 17, 2025, at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 67 after a very courageous battle with cancer.

Valerie was born on July 14, 1957, in Woodstock to the late Noel and Leana (Clark) Bustard.

After Valerie's diagnosis of breast cancer, she spent time in the flower garden, spending time with family and friends, telling stories and laughing. She always enjoyed camping and playing cards. Above all else she adored being a wonderful mom and an amazing Grammy to her grand babies. Words cannot describe the void in our hearts that we feel as Val was the glue that held our family together.

Valerie is survived by her husband Garnet O'Donnell, son Cory (Carley) O'Donnell, daughter Stephanie (Barret) Reid, grandchildren, Bowen, Aubrey, Violet, Walker, Asher, Garrett, Gabrielle and Keara. Sisters, Debbie Bustard, Cathy (Robert) Murphy, Angela (Lee) Dow. Brothers, Peter (Patricia) Bustard, Clark (Susan) Bustard, sisters-in-law Pamela Bustard. Many special Nieces, Nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

Besides her parents, Valerie was predeceased by her brothers, Allison, Lee Bustard and her nephew Adam Bustard.

Visitation will be held at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB on May 21, 2025, from 1-3PM,

Service will follow directly in the chapel at 3PM with interment at St Paul's Cemetery Kirkland. Reception with refreshment to fellow after at 802 rt 555.
