During our times together, I always said to Troy: This not happening to us its happening for us. If this was meant to be, God is so loving that he wanted us to have an army to get through this. And there you are… All of you. Your generosity has been so overwhelming. Our grief is enormous but our gratitude is so much bigger.

Troy is now with God and lives in a better place where there is no suffering. His faith was so strong and he told many of us about it and that he was ready to go. And you can be assured that he was a Butcher until the very end. He was talking to me about working at the shop and deboning meat until the very end. This disease was very aggressive. But when he got sick we still had some time to share deep talks, go for rides all over Carleton County and enjoy how beautiful is it. On the very last day at the hospital he wanted to go for a ride in his new truck with Corey and Jay. It was so awesome to see him go. Troy always loved a good adventure.

This going to be hard living without Troy. If you see us, talk to us, we need you. Support each other and above all pass it on. No matter the size of your business or what you do for a living, always take pride in a job well done, working hard and making people feel important. You have touched our lives in so many ways. We are just but one big family. We do the best we can, make mistakes and every day you start again.

To the people who joined us on our journey, family, friends, the doctors, the nurse, the people who cooked and all others helping us in so many was.

Thank You! We love you!
