Thomas William McLaughlin, 88, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the Veterans Health Unit, Fredericton, NB. Thomas was born in Chatham, NB, on April 11, 1923, son of the late George and Nellie McLaughlin.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Florence (Elliott) McLaughlin, Jacksonville, NB, son, Gary McLaughlin (Gaynelle), Woodstock, NB, grandchildren, Roger (Beth), Woodstock, NB, Lois Kinney (Kenton), Mactacque, NB, Peter (Stephanie), Somerville, NB, three great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Thomas was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Besides his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his 1 ^st wife, Glenna, a brother, Frank and a sister in law, Jean.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Wednesday, April 27 from 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 28 at 2 PM. Interment will be in the Grafton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
