It is with deeply saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother, Thelma Pauline Billings.

She passed away peacefully at her home in Cloverdale, NB. She joined her family with the Lord on October 10, 2024. Thelma was born on January 6, 1928, in Lochards Mill. She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Idella (Shaw) Giberson. Besides her parents, Thelma was predeceased by her husband Ermond Billings, 3 sons, James Billings, David Billings and John Billings and a son in law Ken Keough, her 7 siblings, Vera Derrah, Flora Forstad, Lottie Clendenning, Jack Giberson, Frances Avery, Helen Shaw and Madeline Paget.

Thelma is survived by her children, Lewis Billings of Duncan BC, Connie Billings of Somerville NB, Bonnie Billings of Cloverdale NB and Doug (Krista Waters) Billings of Mainstream NB, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and 1 sibling Mary Trecartin along with many nieces and nephews.

Thelma worked hard on their family farm and occasionally picked potatoes in the fall for Greenlaw's to bring in a little extra cash. She was an avid hunter and when hunting season rolled around everything else was set aside and she headed for the bush to bag a deer…..or two. She was still actively hunting and tagged a moose at the age of 90.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday October 14, 2024, at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB from 12 to 2 with the funeral service to follow at 2PM with Pastor Gordon Mowry officiating. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.

A reception will follow at the Triple C Hall in Coldstream.
