Sewell, Terry Lyn (Payne)

It is with shock and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Terry Lyn Sewell (Payne), of Woodstock NB, on August 17, 2018.  Born on December 9, 1962 in Glace Bay, NS, she was a daughter of Blanche and Terry Payne.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 25 years, Bert and son Terry.  She also leaves behind step children Rachel (Jeff) Foster; Sara (Robin) Covey; Billy (Nicole) Sewell; sister Marjorie (Alain) Belzile Fredericton NB; brother Scott (Sheralle) Calgary AB, sister-in-law Kookie Sewell Woodstock NB, sister-in-law Mary (Raynold) Allen, Bristol NB, her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her special  cousins Judy and Sparky Carr and her Hartstrings family.

Terry Lyn was an extremely compassionate woman who loved her position as a Family Support Worker.  She was kind, funny and always was the first to lend a helping hand.  She was smart, nurturing, and never judgmental and was able to make people feel comfortable.  She had a horrible sense of direction and difficulty finding somewhere she had been to many times.  She always believed and saw the best in people, always had to pee and find a place to smoke and was never without a Pepsi.

Visitation will be held at the Carleton Funeral Home on Thursday August 23, 2018 from 12 to 3 PM. Funeral service will follow at 3PM at the Carleton Funeral  Home Chapel with Pastor Murray Whitehouse officiating,  Interment will be held at the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.

The family has requested donations be made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group.
