Terry Lee
Durling
April 1, 1950 – April 13, 2024
It is with much sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden death of Terry L Durling of Woodstock, NB on Saturday April 13, 2024, at his son's home in Hartin Settlement, NB at the age of 74.
Terry was born on April 1, 1950, to the late Roscoe and Evelyn (Pawsey) Durling. Terry loved his wife, son, daughter and seven grandchildren so deeply and they were his life. But more than his family he loved his Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart. We will deeply miss those times of talking about the Bible and the things of the Lord. He has always looked forward to the day he would be able to see his Saviour and even though our hearts are broken, we rejoice with him as he now is with Jesus.
Terry is survived by his wife of 47 years Eloise Durling (Tidd), son Jason (Jolene), Teresa Van Tassel (Mark), grandchildren Logan, Michael, Matthew, Luke, Kaleb, Ethan, and Sam, siblings Gary Durling (Helen), Marven Durling (Pat), Barb Landers (Wendell), Blaine Durling (Carol), Sharon Kaye (Terry), Nancy Dickison, Jimmy Durling (Charlotte), Eddie Durling (Elaine), Ricky Durling (Dawna), Bev Durling
Besides his parents, Terry was predeceased by his Brother-in-laws Royden Graham and Robert Dickison.
A special thank you to the Canterbury Fire Department, EMS Unit in Dow Settlement, the two RCMP officers who came to the call and any others who were there to assist. Your kindness to us was so appreciated. God bless you all.
In keeping with Terry wishes, there will be no public visitation; however, there will be a funeral service at the Carleton Funeral Home on Friday April 19, 2024 at 2PM. At the request of Terry and family, the interment will be private for wife, children, grandchildren and both Terry and Eloise's siblings and spouse's at the Lower Jacksonville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry's memory can be made to Furtherance Ministries, Wakefield, NB.
There will be not be a reception.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB.
