It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Terrace Stewart Hamilton at Carleton Manor in Woodstock, New Brunswick on December 24th, 2022.

Terry is survived by his two sons, Bruce Valerian and Bryan Valerian, three grandchildren (Abby, Parker and Chloe) and his three sisters, Trish, Iris (Denis) and Joan. He is predeceased by his father, Allan Bruce Hamilton and by his mother, Mildred Roy (Johnson) Hamilton.

When Terry was 9, he and his family moved to Montreal. After high school he entered the Air Force and served 2 years in the Military Police in Winnipeg.

Terry loved to be on the move and did so with his choice of career as an advertising salesman. He travelled from coast to coast in Canada. His greatest accomplishment was becoming General Manager of the Winnipeg Free Press although he worked on many newspapers in Western Canada. For many years he sold advertising space for the vinyl covers of phone books in many Canadian cities.

Terry was noted for his "gift of the gab" and his sense of humor as well as his ability to charm, making him perfect for the work that he loved. Terry moved to New Brunswick to eventually retire and to be near his ailing mother, and 2 sisters, giving him the opportunity to also get to know his many nieces and nephews,

Terry was always up for a good game of cribbage. He loved to talk, to follow news and politics as well as enjoy his favorite shows on TV like Coronation Street, Seinfeld and The Big Bang Theory.

Terry will be greatly missed by everyone in the family and by those who knew him.

There will be no public visitation or funeral service at this time.
