Shirley Mae (Sisson) Neilsen, 83, of Florenceville, NB passed away at the Riverview Manor, Bath, NB. Shirley was born in Sisson Ridge, NB, daughter of the late Roy and Amy (Muckler) Sisson. Shirley is survived by her husband James, Florenceville, NB, son; James Jr. (Jane), South Carolina, daughters; Sara Neilsen, Vancouver, BC, Linda Whittaker, Jacksonville, NB, Carol Anne Foskey (Daniel), Lake City, Florida, daughter in law Gladys Neilsen, Centerville, NB, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, brother, Reed Sisson, Prince George, BC, sister, Madeline Brideau, North Bay Ontario, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents Shirley was predeceased by a son, Winston, brothers, Bud, Sherman, Leonard and a sister, Helen Bell. Shirley was a Round Dance Teacher and Cuer for 17 years in both Canada and US. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville from 6:30 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 24 at 2 PM from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Thompson officiating. Interment will be held in the Florenceville United Cemetery.
