It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Florence Ellis (Shannon) 78 of Greenfield NB at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville on Thursday August 19, 2021.

Shirley was born in Greenfield June 29, 1943 to the late John and Carmen (White) Shannon.

Shirley is survived by her daughters June Ellis and Deborah Ellis (Brian How) of Florenceville-Bristol NB, grandchildren Kyle Ellis, Melissa Billings-Foster (Timothy), Elizabeth Billings and Andrew Shaw, Great granddaughter Chole Bloodsworth,  Also her siblings, Willa Rickard, Mona Lavine and John Shannon, also several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her husband Delbert Ellis, sisters Phyllis Viel, Barbara Patterson, Pearl Patterson and nephew Jeffery Shannon.

By request there will be no visitation or funeral service.

Arrangements are entrusted to Carleton Funeral Home and Crematorium, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB.

If so desired a memorial donation can be made to a memorial of the donor's choice.
