Sheryl Ann
Nichol
January 5, 1957 – September 12, 2025
We are heartbroken to share the passing of Sheryl Ann Nichol, who left us on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the age of 68. She was deeply loved by many and will be remembered for her selfless spirit, gentle strength and unwavering kindness.
Sheryl always put others before herself. Whether through a kind word, a helping hand or quiet support. She gave with her whole heart. She never sought attention – only to care, comfort and love. For that she will truly be missed.
Sheryl cherished time with her family, finding joy in family gatherings, cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events and creating lasting memories family vacations. In recent years, she also became an avid bowler, enjoying league nights with her close friends.
Sheryl was born in Woodstock on January 5,1957, to the late Herman (of Pokiok) and Louise (Wright of Temple) Nichol.
Sheryl is survived by her children, Jennifer (Nickolaj) McCue and Christian (Brittany) Monteith. Her grandchildren, Ashlyn, Jamesyn, Brinley and Hallie. Her brother Carl, sisters Carolyn (Robert) and Sandra. Along with her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Keeping with Sheryl's wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service, a private graveside service will take place at the Ritchie Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
