Shane Michael Smith

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Shane Michael Smith, age 35 of Woodstock, at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville on Monday September 28, 2026.

Shane was born in Perth NB on April 19, 1991, to the late David Smith and Donna Gee.

Shane will be remembered by his mother Donna, daughter, Alexa Smith, sons, Kruz MacKenzie, Tristan McQuade, brothers, Ryan Smith (Stephanie), Mitchell Smith (Dayle), Nieces, Nephews, several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

Shane was predeceased by his father David Smith, his grandparents, Barbara and Leland Gee, and Margaret and Walter Smith.

Shane enjoyed a simple but happy life; he was pretty laid back and enjoyed his biking and some fishing.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Friday October 2, 2026, at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville from 3 to 5PM.
