It is with much sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden death of Scott Edward Durling of Bellville NB on Tuesday December 6, 2022, at the age of 61.

Scott was born on July 1, 1961, to Floyd and the late Ruth (Dykeman) Durling in Woodstock NB.

Scott is survived by his partner Fay Riordon, his stepdaughter Genevieve (Jennie) Carpenter (Peter) and Step grandson Quinton, stepdaughter Kelly Simonds (Edward) and special boy Moses, his Father Floyd Durling, brother Eric (Amelie) Durling and nephew Isaac Durling. As well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Scott was a man of many talents and hobbies. Scott's love of cars was apparent from early age. He caught the bug of drag racing and spent many long hours perfecting his beloved Beaumont. In recent years he was always there to help Peter with his car and waiting by the iPad for an update from the track. His most recent hobby was rebuilding chain saws and making them look and run like new again. Scott always loved his cats and will be missed by Jakie.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday December 9, 2022, at the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2PM. Interment will be held at a later date.

Donations in Scott's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

The family has requested that everyone wear a mask to the funeral.
