It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel Mark Johnston of McKenna on Sunday November 2, 2025, peacefully surrounded by his family at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville at the age of 62.

Samuel was born at the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on March 25, 1963, to the late Gerald Johnston and Dianne (Weeks) Johnston.

He is survived by his mother Dianne, his common -law partner Marjorie Crandlemire, sons, Mark, Matt and Ken, grandson Kaiden, brother Marty (Ellen), sister, Jackie (Harley), several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Sam was predeceased by his father Gerald, infant brother Peter, sister Kathy and brother Ron.

Sam enjoyed the open road and had over a million miles under his belt.

He took great "pride in his ride" and pride in any home he resided at.

He loved to "tinker" at vehicles and was also able to diagnose problems and provide suggestions, which were generally "Spot On" to fix those problems.

His mischievous nature sometimes got him in hot water- but he loved having a good time and sometimes providing comical relief.

The family would like to thank Dr Perley, staff at the Upper River Valley Hospital for the years of care and also to Pastor Carl O'Donnell.

A graveside service will be held on Friday November 7, 2025, at 3Pm at the Pembroke Cemetery.
