Sadie Frances Godin, 73, of Grafton, NB passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Sadie was born in Woodstock, NB, on March 3, 1934, daughter of the late Herbert and Hazel (Weeks) McLaughlin. Sadie is surviving by her son, Jerry (Angie), Woodstock, NB, three grandchildren; Kaytlin, Joshua, Emma, sisters; Florence Barrow, Mississauga, ON, Iva Hallett, Coldstream, NB, Amber Polchies, Woodstock, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Sadie was predeceased by her husband Arthur, brothers; Carl, Bud, and sisters, Dawn, Fern. Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Friday, January 11, 2008 from 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 11 AM from St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, Woodstock, NB with Fr. Bill Brennan as celebrant. Interment will be at a later date in the Avondale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or a memorial of the donor's choice. Service Information
