Ruth Margaret Sarchfield  (Sherwood) of Woodstock NB passed away on  Thursday evening at the Upper River Valley Hospital . Born at Howard Brook NB on Sept 16 1941 to the late Arthur and Cora (Sewell) Sherwood .She made her childhood home with the late Charles and Ethel Jordan (Levi Grant).  Survived by her husband of 55 years , Donald Sarchfield , Woodstock  NB . sons , Steven (Gail) , Charles (Faye) , Joe (Cathy), and John , grandchildren, Heidi (Jeff) , Corey (Rebecca) , Tyler (Tiffany) , Wesley (Jennifer) , Nicole (Ian) , Brittany, Courtney (Kristian) , Alex (Sarah) Jonah. Great-grandchildren , Amelia, Phoebe, Kale , Avery Grace, Rayanne and Tristan . Her siblings , Laura Rogers (Frank) Jean Sherwood , Irene Waugh (Murray) , Walter Jordan (Elizabeth) , Stepsister, Rebecca Grant (John) Stepbrothers , Donald Grant, Levi Grant , Stephen Grant (Ann) , Robert Grant (Pam) , many special nieces and nephews .

Besides her Parents  and Ethel , Charles  and Levi , Ruth was predeceased by brothers , Myles , Ernest , Glen and James , Step brothers , Donald and Robert Jordan .

Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home  where friends may call on Sunday , Nov 20  2011  from 2-4 , 7-9 pm . Funeral Service will be held on Monday Nov  21  at 2 pm from the Salvation Army Church  , Woodstock NB . A Private family Committal  will be in the Glassville Anglican Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Diabetic association or the Salvation Army Church .
