It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Russell David Murchland of Woodstock and formerly of Debec, on Sunday March 23, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 84.

Russell was born in Woodstock on September 28, 1940, to the late Gerald and Eileen (Donovan) Murchland.

Russel grew up in Debec and lived there until 2014 when he moved into Woodstock. He worked for Karnes Kitchen Bakery until he retired.

There will be no public visitation.

Mass of the Christian burial will held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from St Gertrude's Church at 11AM,

Interment will be held at a later date at St Agnus Cemetery in Debec.

If so desired, donations can be made to St Gertrudes Church.
