Ruby Mary Edwards of Fredericton, NB passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmer’s Hospital in Fredericton on June 21, 2026.

Ruby was the daughter of the late Cecil and Fern (Wright) Edwards of Hartin Settlement, Canterbury, NB and former spouse of the late Hallie Jinson.

Ruby was predeceased by her siblings Clifford Edwards, Harry Edwards, Kennieth Edwards, and Eilene (Edwards) Foster. She was also predeceased by her son Hilton *Mike” Jinson and two grandchildren.

Ruby is survived by her children Cindy (Jinson) Racicot (Late Michael Racicot), and William Wayne Jinson (April Shephard). She also had remaining 5 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren She also leaves behind siblings Donald (Maryann) Edwards, Shirley Edwards, Wilford Edwards, Stella St. Amand, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is set for Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 5:00 to 7:00 with funeral services Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 2:00. Visitation and funeral will be held at Carleton Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville; NB. Rev. Luke Weaver will be presiding. Interment in Marne Cemetery, Marne, NB following the service.
