Roy Allison Grant, 67, of Jacksonville, NB, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012 at his residence. Roy was born in Woodstock, NB on May 5, 1944, son of Pearl (Phillips) and the late Saunders Grant.

Roy is survived by mother, Pearl, wife, Betty (Gartley), Jacksonville, NB, children; Kevin, Lindsay, NB, Michael (Talitha), Jacksontown, NB, Andrew, Woodstock, NB, Angela, Woodstock, NB, James (Tricia), Bedell, NB, Sarah, Oakland, NB, grandchildren; Hillary, Tiffany, Timothy, Jed, Keenan, Ethan, Kaytlin, Joshua, Emma, Noah, Isaac, Braden, Conner, Dawson, Elijah, sisters; Sandra Kimball,(Lloyd) Linda Lawrence (Richard), brothers; Richard (Barbara), Lynwood (Lucy), mother in law, Ruth Gartley, brother in law, William Gartley (Paula), several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his father, Saunders, Roy was predeceased by father in law, Ralph Gartley and a brother in law, Herbert Gartley.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Wednesday, March 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 22 at 2 PM from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held in the Jacksontown Cemetery.
