It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Stephen Weeks, age 62 of Newburg at the Upper River Valley Hospital on October 2, 2019.

Born on June 24, 1957 to Gerald & Joyce Weeks; Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Linda; son Jay (Krista), daughter Julie; cherished grandchildren Grayson, Anna & Ava and Charley & Layne; brothers and sisters: Diane (Gerald) Johnston, Terri (Roger) Way, Dale Patterson (Ken), Fred (Susan) Weeks, George (Nancy) Weeks, Roger (Joan) Weeks, Laurel (Glenwood) Ivey, Darlene Watson, Robert Weeks; sister-in-law Cheryl Weeks, special son-in-law Jamie Cougle, several nieces and nephews.

Ronnie was predeceased by his parents, brothers Frankie & Aldon, and brother-in-law Eric Watson.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 2 PM from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held in the St. Joseph's Cemetery Newburg.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group, Pembroke Baptist Church, or to memorial of the donor's choice.
