Ronald James Turner, born on January 24, 1953, in Woodstock, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, in his hometown of Woodstock. He was 72 years old.
Ronald dedicated much of his life to hard work and perseverance. He spent many years working in the woods, a testament to his strength and commitment to providing for those around him. His career also included time with Thomas Equipment and BID, where he contributed his skills and work ethic to each role he undertook.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Hilda; his son Michael; and his daughter Rebecca (Rick). Ronald's legacy continues through his grandchildren—Jordan (Raven), Brittany (Niah), Tyler (Chicky), and Bentley (Amiah)—and great-grandchildren Hunter, Hannah, Cole, and Theo.
His special fur buddy Axel
Ronald's siblings: brothers Gordan (Elizabeth), Murray (Shirley), Alan (Kim), and Eric (Peggy); and sisters Vesta (Carl) and Kathy (Brent). He was predeceased by his father, Burley, and brother Donald (Marilyn).
Keeping with Ronald's wishes there will not be any public visitation or funeral service.
If so desired, donations in Ronald's memory can be made to the Debec Animal Shelter.
"Remember me with joy and laughter, for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all."
