Ronald Lewis Rogers of Divide, New Brunswick and Satsuma, Florida, originally from Argyle, NB, passed away in Florida on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the age of 83.
Ronald was born in Argyle, New Brunswick on May 26, 1940, the son of the late Oscar L and Amy M (Wright) Rogers. Ronald retired from General Motors working as a machinist for many years. When Ronald lived in Connecticut, he coached little league and enjoyed mentoring the kids. He was never one to pass up a friendly game of cards.
He is missed dearly by his four children, Ronald L. Rogers, Jr (Jill) of Connecticut, Leonard Maranda (Darcy), of Connecticut, Lisa Daley (William) of Connecticut, and Cecelia Begeron of Connecticut; Four Sisters, Margaret Cote of Florenceville, Eveline Grindle of Maine, Josephine Wandless of New Brunswick, Rowena Schriver of Ontario and two brothers James Rogers (Barbara) of New Brunswick and Frank Rogers (Laura) of Ontario; three granddaughters, Ashley, Bonnie and Katie; and six grandsons, Rob, Zackery, Hunter, Mike, Nick and Anthony, and many nieces and nephews, who loved him greatly. Special thanks to Brian and Janice Kessler and the Nadeau family who watched over him, especially after his wife Rita passed away.
He was predeceased by his parents, his beloved wife Rita (MacDonald) Rogers, and his brothers Allen Rogers, Roy Rogers and Lawrence Rogers.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday June 1, 2024 at 11AM at the Argyle Cemetery.
