It is with much sadness and broken hearts that we announce the death of Ronald Phillip Parkinson of Birdton NB on May 22, 2025, at Hospice House in Fredericton at the age of 57.

Ron was born in Woodstock on May 8 ,1968 to the late Harry and Irene (Roberts) Parkinson.

He is survived by his wife Tania (Johnston) Parkinson, son Mitchell (Cheer) Calgary, Ryan (Lyndsay) Hamtown Corner, grandchildren, Skylar, Rylyn, Sadie and Silas, Sister Karen Parkinson, Toronto.

Ron was a beloved husband of almost 39 years to his wife Tania.

Their bond started in childhood, and all could see their love was a deep lifelong friendship.

He was a devoted Father of his two boys, and he cherished every moment with his beautiful grandchildren, and they clearly loved their Grampie, spending nearly every Sunday with them. They especially loved his suppers with whipped potatoes. He would do anything for those he loved.

He was a master carpenter and took on many prestigious carpentry jobs over the years. He always said that he thinks he's worked on every street in Fredericton over the past 39 years. He taught many lessons to others in carpentry and was looked up to for his patience and calm demeanor. Hardly taking a sick day, even through many rounds of chemotherapy.

He was a strong, hard working, calm, caring man with a heart of gold. Full of smiles and a great sense of humor. He set a high bar, and his shoes will never be filled.

He will be missed dearly and was taken way too soon.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday May 24, 2025, Ultimate 600 Alison Blvd, Fredericton NB at 1PM.
