It is with sadness that we share the passing of Roberta June Bolstridge. She was 83.

Born and raised in Woodstock, N.B., she spent her final years in a friendly farmhouse in Lower Knoxford, surrounded by kind neighbours.

Bobbie loved the arts and took any opportunity to enjoy live music and community events. Wherever Bobbie was, a good time was sure to be had. We have all been well fed and comforted over the years through the wonderful meals she lovingly prepared for us and the cooking skills she passed down. We learned that there's nothing that can't be cured by some homemade baked beans and brown bread.

Friends from many geographical locations and various generations were drawn to her quick wit and dry sense of humour. She maintained many close friendships, notably with Shirley Hawkes for more than 80 years.

After the death of her husband, Stan, in 2010, Bobbie found companionship with Lyle Pedersen, with whom she spent seven fun-filled golden years.

She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Stan, her daughter, Ruthie, and grandson Keith. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Diana (Gerard) Boyd of Johnville, N.B., daughter Katie (Frank) Thompson of Zebulon, North Carolina, son-in-law Dana McAllister of Lyman, ME; grandchildren Michael (Ashley) McAllister, Nicole Jeffers, Lindsey (Mike) Bunin, Stuart Keilty, Jack Thompson, Thomas Thompson and Sam Thompson, and great grandchildren Adrienne McAllister, Caitlyn and Michael McAllister, Declan and Adelyn Jeffers, and Jacob and Isaac Bunin.

In keeping with her wishes, no funeral will be held. Memorial donations in Bobbie's honour can be made to the donor's choice.
