On December 2, 2023, Robert H.J. Briggs passed away peacefully after suffering from lengthy illness.

He leaves behind his wife Sabine of 40 years of marriage, his three children, son Robert Briggs (Megan Mainville Briggs), daughter Angela Briggs (Fiancé Mike Whalen), son William Briggs, and two granddaughters, Caitlyn Dawson and Sophie Briggs.

Robert was born on September 16, 1954, in Bath to his parents Hugh John and Kathleen Briggs of Greenfield.

He also leaves behind his siblings, Rhonda Briggs (Gary Grant), David Briggs (Fay), and Sandra Briggs (Craig Paine).

Graveside service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the Greenfield Cemetery at 2:30PM.
