It is with much sadness and broken hearts that we announce the death of Richard (Rick) Paul Sercerchi of Lower Woodstock on Thursday October 19, 2023, following a brief battle with cancer and with his family and friends by his side at the age of 68.

Rick was born in Fredericton NB on August 4, 1955, to the late Albert and Madeline (Broad) Sercerchi of Woodstock.

Survived his loving wife Dorothy (Strong- Bartley), Daughter Stephanie Sercerchi, son Stephen (Lindsey) Sercerchi, Adam (Meranda) Bartley, Allison (Colleen) Bartley, his much-loved grandchildren, Oliver, Spencer, Berkley, Finnley, Jase, Cody, Aria, Sloan and Tucker, and brother Kenneth Sercerchi, special life long friends Dale and Mary Jane Clark, Special cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Besides his parents Rick was predeceased by his in laws Hazen and Kathryn Strong, Basil and Marie Lawrence, sister-in-law Sybil Sercerchi, brother-in-law Gary Durling.

There will not be a public visitation.

Funeral Mass will be held at St Gertrude's Catholic Church on Tuesday October 24th, 2023, at 11AM.

A graveside committal will be held at a later date in the Calvary Cemetery.

If so desired, donations to Upper River Valley Cancer Support Group and Extra Mural can be made in Rick's memory.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and extra mural staff for the care received.
