It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Richard "Allie" Allison Cougle of Woodstock on Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 67.

Allie was born in Woodstock on July 24, 1956, to the late Richard and Donna (Antworth) Cougle of Woodstock.

Allie is survived by his daughter, Keely (Jeff) MacTavish of Woodstock, precious grandchildren, Rowan, and Mia MacTavish, Sisters, Debby Cougle of Fredericton, NB, Dawn (Jamie) Cunningham of Whites Cove, NB, also survived by Nieces, Nephews, great Nieces, and Nephews.

Allie was passionate about Standardbred horses and harness racing. He was also a storyteller, avid golfer, loyal Blue Jays fan, and enjoyed many hours on his motorcycle. Most importantly he was a proud father and grandfather to Rowan and Mia.

Allie was a dedicated and valued employee of Sabian Cymbals in Meductic, NB for over 30 years. He mastered lathing and crafted over 1 million symbols throughout his career.

Keeping with Allie's request there will be no public visitation or funeral service. If desired donations can be made to a charity of donor's choice in Allie's memory.

Internment at Woodstock Rural Cemetery at a later date.
