In 1955 Reg married the love of his life, his sweetie, Helen. In November, they would have marked their 67 anniversary.

Reg was well known in the Carleton County transport industry. He got his start when he purchased his first in 1956 to haul pulp. Along with being a smart businessman and his dedication, it was the start of a business that would eventually grow to a fleet of trucks that hauled wood chips, pulp, fish, and gravel, along with heavy equipment. All those who worked for Reg highly respected him and in return, were treated like family.

When Reg wasn't busy with business, you could usually find him somewhere out in his yard. He loved running his bulldozer as well as his other heavy equipment, and whatever he could find to dig up. He also loved riding around in his mule, making his rounds and keeping all the animals full of bread. Earlier on, him and Helen spent many years square dancing and round dancing with the Woodstock Wheelers Club as well as clogging with the Happy Foot Cloggers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 25, 2022, at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB from 4 to 8PM.
