Rayma Marie Vrieze passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital, on December 13th 2023 at the age of 76. She was the daughter of the late George and Virginia (Harris) Flewelling.

She was born January 13th 1947.

Rayma is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Maurice; her daughters Sandra Wheelan (Colin) and Brenda Smith (Mark). She is also survived by 3 grand children, Ben Smith

(Brianne); Courtney Hemphill (Kyle); Lindsey Smith (Ryan). Her life was brightened by her 7 great-grand children; Bentley, Ashton, Addison, Bennett, Keenan, Ava and Austin. Rayma

Will be missed by her 7 siblings; Ronda Murray (Ray), Robert Flewelling (Alice), Richard Flewelling (Roberta), Ruth Bryant (Bobby), Peter Flewelling, Robena Clark (Lloyd)

and Shelley Wheelan (Brian) and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents Rayma was pre-deceased by her mother and father-in-law Willem & Anna Vrieze; Brother and sister-in-law Lemie and Shirley Vrieze; and nephew Brent Vrieze.

Rayma was an avid knitter until her health wouldn't allow her to do so. She spent a large part of her life in the food service industry. Rayma was a fantastic cook which led her to establish

a catering business. Her banquets received much praise far and wide. She could feed 200 as easily as 10.

As per Ramya's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be in the Bedell Cemetery.

Interment will be held on Wednesday December 20, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Bedel Cemetery.
