Ray Albert Cougle, 88, of Jacksonville NB passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville NB. Ray was born in Knoxford NB on June 6, 1925 son of the late Benjamin and Ethel (London) Cougle.

Ray is survived by his wife; Sylvia (Porter) Cougle, children; Donald Cougle (Cheryl), Diane Cammack (Murray), David Cougle (Angie), Judy Downing (Ned), Glen Cougle (Mary), step daughter, Holli Greer, daughter in law Gail Cougle, son in law Roy Haskill, twenty four grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren.

Ray was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Besides his parents; Ray was predeceased by his first wife; Tressa (Hallett) Cougle, son, Merlin, daughters; Donna and Jean and a stepson, William Greer.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Sunday, May 18 from 7 PM to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 19 at 12 Noon with Pastor Murray Whitehouse officiating.  Interment will be held in the Upper Knoxford Cemetery.
