Ralph Lorne Orser, 92, of Howard Brook, NB, passed away at his residence on Monday, September 17, 2007. Born in Cloverdale, NB, on June 27, 1915, he was son of the late Oakley and Sophia Orser. Ralph is survived by his wife Alice, their son Leonard (Bettina) Orser and his faithful dog Babe. He is also survived by Judith (Donald) Nicholson, Margo (Allison) DeLong, Deane (Heather) Orser, Linda (Michael) Haywood, Suanne (Jerry) Trecartin and their mother Edith Orser of Cloverdale. He leaves 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Ralph is also survived by 2 stepsons, Steven and Leo Harrington, 4 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Ralph was predeceased by brothers, John, Elwood, Alonzo G., Weston, Harvey, Alonzo L., and Lewis, sisters Trecia, Augusta, Frances, Nettie and Clara. Ralph was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Ralph was a successful businessman, an avid outdoorsman, loved children, animals, music, dancing, gardening, fishing, travelling, and making maple syrup and dog sledding. We love you Dad and Grampy. At Ralph's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to a memorial of the donor's choice.
