Obituary

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Philippa Mary (Hall) Sharpe on Sunday November 10, 2024, at the Wauklehegan Manor in McAdam NB at the age of 71.

Philippa was born in Woodstock on March 30, 1953, to the late Malcolm and Elizabeth (Wetmore) of Woodstock. Philippa was preceded in death by her two oldest brothers Peter (Ruth) and James/aka Jim (Joan).

She chose a career in the healthcare field and obtained her Registered Nursing Assistant (RNA) certification after high school. Her career began in various hospitals and evolved to senior care facilities. Philippa was known for her 'genuine' caring capabilities.

Philippa was a member of the St Lukes Choir, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, ceramic crafting and tole painting, card/board and Nintendo games, in her spare time.

Philippa is survived by her brother Geoffrey (Kelley) Fredericton and sisters Sharon (Neil) and Suzanne (Malcolm) both currently residing in Woodstock and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the care Philippa received over the last several years, by caregivers at the Prince Albert Lodge (Woodstock), Hawthorne Place (Hartland) and most recently Wauklehegan Manor (McAdam).

Service will be held on Tuesday November 19, 2024, at 2:00PM from Christ Church in Lower Woodstock.

Interment to follow at Christ Church Cemetery, with reception to follow.

If so desired, donations can be made to the Christ Church Cemetery Fund.
