It is with much sadness that we announce the sudden death of Peter Ralph Watson of Bulls Creek NB on Wednesday May 6, 2026, at the age of 74.

Peter was born in Woodstock on January 1, 1952, to the late Ralph and Frances (Anderson) Watson.

Survived by his loving wife Linda (Wortman) Watson, daughters, Yvonne (Malcolm) Nye, Donna (Kirk) Thompson, son, Randy (Susan) Watson, grandchildren, Rebekah, Tomi, Samuel, Benjamin, Kayla, Alysha, Maya, Peter, Logan and Arleigh, his fur baby, Phoebe, who he loved dearly, sister Marlene Morin, brother George (Deanna) Watson, sister in-law Ruth Williams, several Nieces, Nephews and many cousins

Besides his parents, Peter was predeceased by his in-laws John and Gaynell Wortman, brothers-in-law Richard Morin and Huelett Williams.

Peter and his brother George started Valley Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Ltd. in 1974 in Jacksonville and was well known in Carleton County and across New Brunswick until they sold the business in 2014.

Peter was an avid sports fan; He loved the Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. Through the years, Peter participated in many sports, golf and curling to name a few. Peter took great pride in his lawn, he mowed with much detail and made sure it looked beautiful.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 8, 2026, from Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville from 4 to 7 PM.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 9, 2026, from Woodstock Wesleyan Church in Jacksonville at 2PM. The funeral will be online.

Interment will be held at the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.

A reception will be held at the Wesleyan Church following the service.
