The death of Peter Clarey of Woodstock NB husband of Godelieve (Vanbooren) Clarey occurred after a lengthy illness on March 30, 2005 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital at the age of 91. Born in Milltown Cross PEI he was the son of the later Andrew and Sadie (Beers) Clarey. Peter has left behind his loving family, wife Godelieve, Sons John (Elizabeth), Alva (Cathy), Daughters Deborah Clarey, Brenda Crawford (Gerald) and six grandchildren and six great grand children. Peter is predeceased by his brothers John and George Clarey and his half sister Elizabeth Rourks. Peter was a Veteran of the World War II. There will be no visitation or funeral but instead a Legion Tribute at The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville with only family members in attendance. The family wishes to express appreciation to all who have supported our family during Peter's illness.
