It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Percy Eugene Grant. Percy passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Percy was born in Newburg NB at home February 18, 1946. He had a great passion for horses and he was owner and breeder of race horses. One of his great loves in life was his mom and dad.

Percy is survived by his five sisters; Leota Grant Hartland, NB, Muriel Hamilton (Percy) Richmond Corner, Eva Cullins (Terry), Woodstock NB, Mona Tompkins (Richard), Canterbury, NB, Marilyn Harris (Billy Fewer), Deerville, NB, brother, Dale Grant (Faye), Sterling ON, special friend, Nita Cole, Woodstock, NB, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Percy was predeceased by his parents; Percy and Anna Grant, sister, Rena and husband Alfred Young.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 2 PM from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Carl O'Donnell officiating. Interment will be held in Pembroke Cemetery at a later date.
