The passing of Paul James Murphy occurred on December 16, 2016 at his residence at Newbridge NB. Paul was born February 28, 1947 to the late Frank and Clara (Marsten) Murphy. He resided in Newbridge all his life and was employed by the DOT for twenty five years as a heavy equipment operator.

Paul is survived by his wife , Clara(Montgomery) Murphy, two daughters, Julie Prosser(Trevor), Susan Merrithew(Mark) a son James(Aimee), two grandchildren, Ava Merrithew and Huston Murphy, a sister Hilda Turner, two brothers, Walter and Robert as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother Ernest and a granddaughter Brinae.

There will be no visitation or formal services at this time. A burial will take place at a later date followed by a time of fellowship at his home. The time and date will be posted.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a memorial of the donor's choice.
