Patrick Paul Poitras, 69, of Woodstock NB passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at his residences. Pat was born in Bath NB on March 27, 1948 son of the late Claude and Edna (Foster) Poitras.

Pat is survived by his wife; Peggy (Nason) Poitras, children; Velvet Dore (Kevin), Darren Stewart (Bonnie), Todd Stewart (April), six grandchildren; Stephanie, Marlee, Derrick, Sommer, Morgan, Crystal, great grandchildren; Makayla, Khory, Aloria, Letti, sisters; Loraine, Sheila, Tressa, brothers; George, Claude, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, Pat was predeceased by a son; Christopher, brothers; Richard, Alfred and a sister, Suann.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 4 PM to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11 AM with Fr. John Beaumaster. Interment will be held in the Calvary Cemetery at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Calvary Cemetery Fund or to the Carleton County Animal Shelter.
