Pansy May Johnston, 79, of Newbridge, NB passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Pansy was born in St. Andrews, NB on June 2, 1934, daughter of the late Carson and Elsie (Sparrow) Sewell.

Pansy is survived by her husband; Floyd Johnston, daughter; Phyllis Thibodeau (Arthur), sons; Albert Sewell (Jean), Robert Johnston, John Johnston (Heather), Charles Johnston (Susan), Roger Johnston, sixteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, sisters; Madeline (Harry), Geraldine (Reg), and a brother; Francis (Marion), several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents; Pansy was predeceased by brothers; Walter Sewell, Eugene Sewell, Harold Sewell and sisters; Rena McLaughlin, Rose Lockard and Evangeline Johnston.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville, NB, on Thursday, August 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 30 from The Pembroke Baptists Church at 2 PM. Interment will be held in the Pembroke Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pembroke Baptist Church.
