It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved Neil Douglas Taylor, 69 of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Formerly of Grafton, NB who passed away after a lengthy illness at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre in Fort McMurray, AB on May 16th, 2025.

Neil was born in Woodstock, NB on December 19, 1955. The son of the late Ernest Taylor and Rita K. Taylor (Carr).

Neil is survived by his wife Donna M. Taylor (DeMerchant), Daughter: Holly. Grandchildren: Grayson, Noah, Gabriel (Gabe), Nate and Brooklyn Reid, Brother Gary Taylor, Newbridge, NB. Sisters, Juanita Stairs, St. John, NB, Linda Furrow, Woodstock, NB, Nancy Weeks (George), Newburg, NB, Ethel McBride (Terry), Fort McMurray, AB, Brothers in Law - Brian DeMerchant (Liz), Fredericton, NB, Albert (Sherry) DeMerchant, Perth Andover, NB, David (Nancy) DeMerchant, Jacksonville, NB, Sisters in Law - Susan Larlee (John), Woodstock, NB, Mary Cougle (Glen), Fredericton, NB, Sheila Bissonnette (Denis), Dartmouth, NS, Several nieces & nephews.

Neil was predeceased by his sons: Ryan & Joshua, Brother George Taylor, Grafton, NB. Sister Barbara Clark (Taylor), Newburg, NB, Mother & Father-in-law: Viola DeMerchant (Wheeler) & Ronald DeMerchant, Sisters in Law, Rhonda DeMerchant, Fredericton, NB and Caroline Anne Wheeler, Woodstock, NB.

Visitation will be held on Saturday June 7 from Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB from 12:30 until 2PM.

Funeral service will be held at 2PM from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel, with interment at Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
