It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Neil Merle Patterson of Pembroke on Friday March 8, 2024, at his residence at the age of 81.

Neil was born in Woodstock on January 14, 1943, to the late Donald and Alice (Barnett) Patterson.

Besides his parent, Neil was predeceased by his brother Robert Patterson and a brother-in- law Richard Sharpe.

Neil is survived by his son Christopher (Tracy) of Pembroke, Christopher's mother Patricia Markey, sisters Pauline Sharpe of Pembroke, Sarah Crawford (Archie) of Woodstock, Brenda (Stan) Zima of Connecticut, brother David Patterson (Ron) of Ontario, sister -in -law Margaret Patterson of Woodstock, Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Respecting Neil's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time, A private graveside service will be held at the Pembroke Cemetery in the spring.

If so desired, donations in Neil's memory can be made to the Pembroke Cemetery or the River Valley Cancer Support Group.
