Nathan Wilmot
Savage
March 4, 1974 – July 15, 2019
Nathan Wilmot Savage, 45, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019. Nathan was born in Bath NB on March 4, 1974.
Nathan is survived by his mother, Faye Savage, children, Delaney, Alex, siblings, Kim (Kirby), Tim, Mitch (Heidi), Michelle (Kevin), Shelley, Natalie (Allan), partner, Kristie Dawn, nieces and nephews, Jordan, Nigel, Keeghan, Hayley, Logan, Katie, Mason, Liv, Elliot, great nephew, Kasen, several aunts and uncles.
Nathan was predeceased by his father, Gladwyn Savage and chosen sister, Shanon Wright.
Nathan began his lifelong work as a carpenter at a young age with his father. HE lived most of his life in Lakeville except for a few years out west. He loved music, fishing and baseball. Nathan was a great storyteller and loved to reminisce about his younger and sometimes more colourful years. Often times recalling things some of us, as siblings, would have preferred not be repeated in the presence of Mother and Father.
Though he had struggles throughout most of his life he made attempts to overcome those battles with a smile on his face. We take comfort knowing those struggles are over and he is now at peace.
Nathan was as old soul and had a heart of gold. More than anything he loved his family. He was the true baby of the family and we did our very best to take care of him. We will cherish our many good memories and happy times together.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
